Fleets

Monitoring always takes place at device level, i.e. during monitoring, individual Devices monitored.

However, if you have several devices, it may make sense to use different devices for different scenarios. Different scenarios Define monitoring and alarms. To avoid always having all your devices you can define device fleets. A fleet is a grouping of Devices.

You can easily integrate a device into several fleets. For example, if you have 20 devices and use 10 of them at a surfing spot while the other 10 are used at a Mountain bike station, it would be possible to define three fleets:

  • All Devices
    This fleet includes all devices
  • Surf Devices
Only the devices that are used in the surf station are included here
  • Mountainbike Devices
Equipment hired out to mountain bikers is included in this fleet.

With these three fleets, you can also create three monitoring scenarios later and also configure various alarms.
